What brow technique is best for you?
What are you hoping to achieve for your brows?

  1. Natural as possible
    – Microblading
    – Natural and Combo Brows

  2. Natural appearance but still defined
    soft combo brows

  3. A soft makeup powder look
    -Ombre brow

  4. Bold
-Combo brow or bold ombre brow
Microblading

Manual tool technique used to create natural-like hairs throughout the brow. This method is good for those with dry-normal skin types and who prefer a very natural appearance.

Ombre

This technique creates a soft, powdered like finish throughout the brow giving the appearance of a soft makeup look. This can be done very natural looking or bold for more of a makeup appearance. This technique is great for all skin types, lasts the longest, and over time fades away more consistently.

Cosmetic tattooing

Cosmetic tattooing is also known as semi-permanent makeup or micropigmentation. The process is implanting color pigments beneath the surface of the skin. Cosmetic tattooing can be done to enhance the natural features of the face, create hair strokes in the brows, semipermanent makeup, camoflauge scars/stretch marks, and also hair loss solutions for thinning or balding in both men and women.

Does it hurt?

A highly-effective, topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing before and during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure. If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment will not last as long. If you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.

Why isn’t it permanent like traditional tattoos?

Cosmetic tattooing uses pigments versus ink like traditional tattooing. Cosmetic tattoo pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to colour and shape. As we age, our skin changes and we want to be able to adjust the shape over time.

How long does it last?

Cosmetic Tattooing longevity ranges depending on service, client, skin type, lifestyle, etc. Typically Eyebrows need a color refresh at 1-2 years and there are touchup rates for maintenance.

Eyebrows 1-3 years
Lips 3-5 years
Eyeliner 3-5 years
SMP 5+ years

Who aren’t candidates for cosmetic tattooing?

Cosmetic tattooing can’t be done for any clients who are or have:

  • Pregnant
  • Currently in chemotherapy treatments
  • Epilepsy
  • Currently using Accutane
  • Skin irritations in the area. Example psoriasis, eczema, etc.
  • Hemophilia
  • Uncontrolled diabetes. Having diabetes doesn’t mean you can’t have a tattoo you just need to ensure your diabetes is well controlled. High blood sugar levels, for example, can complicate the healing process and increase the risk of infection.
  • Clients who can’t stop their daily blood thinners
  • Keloid scars- clients who tend to keloid from wounds/cuts shouldn’t take the risk of cosmetic tattooing.
  • Viral infections as simple as a cold, we suggest coming in feeling healthy so your healing period isn’t compromised and it doesn’t put you at a higher risk of an infection occurring.
Soft Combo Brows

A client favorite! This technique combines both microblading and ombre shading. It gives the client both the natural hair appearance but the shading really defines the brows giving it more depth.

Bold Combo brows

This technique combines both microblading and ombre shading. Ombre shading is done throughout the brow with microblading at the front for a natural appearance.

Nano Brows

This technique is similar to a combo brow but uses machine method for the entire brow

What is the aftercare like?

instructions as well as a healing ointment.

How many sessions are needed?

Each new service(Excluding SMP) includes a perfecting appointment which is 6-12 weeks following the first appointment. SMP sessions range per client but can be anywhere from 2-4 sessions to complete.
